The role of ALADIN in soundproofing

The improvement of the soundprrofing starts from an invisible element: ALADIN, the Rothoblaas resilient profile designed for walls and ceilings. Installed between the substructure and internal cladding, ALADIN acts on the propagation of structural noise (vibrations that propagate through the building elements, even between non-contiguous spaces, including vibrations generated by impact sound).

The result is a clear improvement in soundproofing, with noise reduction values verified and approved according to standard EN ISO 10848.
Behaviour is stable over time, even under typical loads of lightweight timber structures.

In the Canadian project, the entire construction panels works in synergy: certified fastening, tapes for airtightness, plates and construction site tools. ALADIN completes the system as a specific solution for indoor comfort, contributing to the perceived quality of environments.

Easy installation and continuous soundproofing

ALADIN is precut to obtain four different widths with only two versions: ALADIN SOFT in compact extruded EPDM and ALADIN EXTRA SOFT in expanded EPDM.
The product has been also tested for fire performance, achieving class E. Installation is intuitive and quick.
Without decoupling elements such as ALADIN, the risk is a significant loss of performance of the entire soundproofing layers.
